Best additives for boosting Zoa color

Has anyone used a supplement that really intensified the color of your corals? I've been looking at Kent's Chromamax and Marc Weiss's Black Powder.

I'm sure a lot of people have added Nitrogen to their grass to make it more green. I know it may sound gross but my father once added one unit of expired blood (he's a doctor) to our rose bushes. Well, we had to tie all the rose bushes to our fence due to the massive amount of blooms that ensued.

Beyond providing a proper environment and lighting, Is there a supplement out there that boosts the color of your zoanthids?

Your opinions are appreciated.

There are no magic supplements that will replace good husbandry, even though many claim to be the end all cure all miracle. Feeding your tank a wide variety of foods will give them all the nutrients they need. Just keep stable parameters and good lighting, and bulbs in the 14-20k range seem to give the best color for zoanthids.

I agree with you completely but I was trying to think physiologically down to the cell. like the examples I gave earlier. A better example would be that if humans ingest excess amounts of beta-carotene their skin will get an orange tint.

Anyone?
