Can you please use a period or comma? Its really hard to read otherwise.

When I student taught 12th grade government, it was appalling to see how some of our young people write, and what they believe to be acceptable grammatically. I actually refused to accept one paper because it was literally unreadable. I could have sworn he just mashed on the keys for a few pages, then handed it to me if I didn't recognize a word here and there and was able to put them together in some semblance of order.

i agree that matt needs to use periods and commas. i went to school at iup and attended their honors college. part of the curriculum involved writing almost daily papers. we had two main research papers due every semester and would have to peer edit them. keep in mind it was an honors college. some of the papers i would have to read would end up recieving whole red X's across the page if i couldn't read them. then you would have to edit the ideas that they presented. let's just say i am glad i no longer go to school.

I think it is great that he is interested in this hobby - regardless of his writing ability - good to see young people passionate at something that requires discipline ,intelegence , etc.

+1

I'm sure the more Matt reads of other peoples posts that some will rub off, and some wont.

I'm still hung up on all the abbreviations..

I'm glad to see how passionate you are about this hobby, maybe tooooo excited sometimes but, I think we've all been there and learned from it.

The spell check button is down there and I use it a lot!

And the ironic post of the day goes to.........

hahah ok guys, ill try to write a little better shows off my bad side. yeah i text alot lol. but i want to be a teacher so i guess i need to get use to it. but ya the light is so sweet. it give off so much light my anemone i just took out the 40 is hideing under 3 rocks lol. its great thanks for the input on my spelling to lol.

Spelling *too. But anyhow, good luck with the teaching. What subject are you most interested in? I'm not saying this to discourage you, but the job outlook in this area of the country for teachers is very bad. I should know, as someone who's had a teaching certificate for a while now and can't find any work in the field. Best of luck to you though, and I hope that everything works out.

I don't think this is an English 101 forum guys, you can all understand what he means.

Congrats on the new light Matt.

I was just giving some constructive criticism. Do not take it the wrong way. I too wish you all the best in the reefing world. I don't think I would have had the guts for it, in high school.

All the best.

thanks my to cousins are teachers. so they can get me in out at peters township or somewere in that area , and buck i didnt take it the wrong way lol and bio tech. or geo. are my areas of intrest just about 10 mins ago i just gotin a piece of mail deliverd to the wrong house well piece i should say 5 college football schooler ship offer one being to a ivy league college today couldnt get better

yeah i wasn't trying to rag on matt. more power to him for getting into this hobby. it is just hard to help someone out when you can't even understand what they are saying. this is a crime we all commit.

on a side note, matt when are we gonna see this tank... you are always on here asking questions and such and i know i want to see your progress so far.

Yeah, we saw a lot for a long time there, and then nothing. I remember you saying you were breeding urchins...which is something obviously that very few people ever attempt. As for the bio-tech/science field, I'm sure something that high level and specialized would be a lot easier to find a job with than my History certification.

Along with everyone else, and my criticism of the speed with which you seem to jump into this, I support you 100% with what you are doing and really want to see you succeed. I don't know anybody younger than you as deeply interested in this field, and I think that's magnificent.

Nate
