Anyways I ended up getting in contact with Jane/John...Great people but I did not buy the tank. The scratch was more than I expected..but it was a GREAT tank though!

Well I'm back in the search of a 180-200 Gallon tank...Standard retangular....3 sided starphire, corner overflow, 2" drain, euro-braced, 0.50" glass......If anyone knows anyone that's selling...please let me know!

Glad I could help......... but you should have bought the tank! :D
For the deal you could have gotten, you can look past any scratches for a few years.

Hey Ben,

Can you fit that tank in your ride? I wanna take a road trip =)

~Charles~

nope! good ol' four door car...it is a practical upgrade from my 2 door job!

i personally cant believe that no one has bought the tank...it is practically free! well...for a few hundred dollars! but for starphire, it's 'almost' there!

IF that tank is a 4 sided starphire that is completley insane!!! I thought it was only front panel!!!!!

Ok, ok

Im everyones humble opinion, would this be too much weight to put on a second story? It would be along the outside wall that is over the garage openings.

I estimate about 2k lbs with equipment spreadout over 15 sq feet giving me about 135lbs per square foot. I might just snag this.

Hard to say. A corner would be the strongest point. Garage door openings usually have a large header... usually.

Its painful for me not to pick up the tank. Its just over the hill from me. Just not ready for a big tank yet... at least not until the wife gets fed up with all the little tanks :D

I am interested in the tank. Someone said something about a scrath, is it pretty big, one could not turn the tank around, or am I missing something?

The tank has an external overflow and has a main starphire panel. It has a definite front and back, you can't turn it around.

No, I have not personally seen the tank, but found the info in other threads.

Hi there,

Our movers show up first thing tomorrow morning - I won't have the ability to post - somebody NEEDS this tank! The scratch looks a whole lot worse when the tank is dry - there are indeed THREE sides that are starfire and it's just a killer deal!

Jane

I've seen this tank, the scratch isn't that bad....for the price someone needs to get this tank!!! If only I had room...sigh.
