Best food for BTA?

hello All

There's probably already a posting about this. If so, can you point me to it?

Otherwise, can you share with me your success stories when it comes to feeding a BTA? I've fed mine frozen silversides & Formula 1, but it's not growing very much. Any ideas for additional food and/or supplements? What works for you?

Please let me know.

Thanks,

Flamehawkfish

defrost the silverslide before feeding, soak it in selcon first... and 10-15 mysis shrimps at a feeding work well for me. (mysis or silverslide, not both)

How big are the pieces you feed them? The same shrimp you can get at a supermarket? I just got a green BTA, I'll probably try feeding it in a day or two.

Thank you all for the feedback.

This might be a dumb question, but what's 'selcon'? How does it help anemones?

I will follow everyone's advice and try shrimp, squid, & defrosted silversides.

I've fed mine frozen krill for years. Basically, just smaller shrimp.

Selcon is a Fatty Acid (HUFA) supplement - basically fish oils that help provide additional nutritional support.
