I take care of 2 1500 gal tanks, filled with Tangs, wrasses, lionfish (1) golden puffer (1) clowns, Foxface, some Triggers and various Angels--some are very large, most medium size. No butterflys, anthias, etc. these all were recently acquired and are fed small and large pcs raw shrimp, frozen krill, cubes of mysis shrimp and some dry veggie and other pellets. I'm looking for something better, easier to store and manage if possible. What's out there to give my fish a better, but varied diet?? Thanks...

Thanks--and I did check on previous threads for "Fish Food" and the consensus seems to be to make my own. So, I will do just that! Found many recipes, but essentially they all say almost any combination of fresh seafood, and some vitamin additives, perhaps some nori, and voila! I'll prepare it all in a day or so, I'm sure my fish will thrive on it. Thanks again...

make sure you use an oily fish and canned has only water no phosphates.

ie canned clams and oysters.......

Most seafood is preserved with phosphates of some kind. Check with your fishmonger but you'll probably want to look at live or fresh caught seafood.

You lucky SOB! :)

Can't imagine it would hurt to rinse it with RODI when done (industrial sized coffee filter in a colander). Just in case it hadn't occurred to you, unfrozen/never frozen meat whenever possible.
