Best test kits?

What is the best brand of test kit for a reef tank? I'm currently using the API saltwater test kit, and have to get the phos, calc, and kh added to my arsenal. API is ok, but I hate that it leaks when I shake the vials.

Sorry if there is already a thread on this subject, I'm a newbie

API are good for nitrate, ammonia, pH, but for calcium, alkalinity, phosphate, magnesium, use a Salifert or Red Sea brand. Much more accurate.

Memfish has the red sea (I think)...And API

I use the Red Sea titration tests for Calcium, Alkalinity, & Magnesium and API for the rest. I really like the red sea tests as they are very accurate.

I hate the API tests simply because the caps do not always seal and the color variations are not as distinct as they could be IMO.
