Best way to "fatten" up a fish?

I think its because everyone feeds nori. Even though Nori is healthy there isn't much to it as far as fat.
Try and get your hands on a flake that is over 90% Spirulina in content (most are not even close) or get Spirulina powder from a health food store and make your own food. I did the later and mixed it with some vitamins and meaty foods and my tangs and angels are going great.

"variety is the spice of life" no one gets fat in a day. my Naso gets 3types of alge, spectrum, formula 1 and 2, mysis, squid, clam, and every now and then alittle sumthing from the 'fuge. he was a skinny little guy but now..... just remember to keep the water quality high.

thats allright make sure you use a feeding ring as flake are prone to bring down water quality quickly if overfeed. try as many quality brands as possible

You can try putting a piece of banana for a couple of days...

That sounds strange :D but I had some succes in the past with skinny tangs...

Assuming all water perameters are in check, this! Freshwater & salt. Still missing a few though.
