Best way to raise Ca without changing the dosing?

Right now I'm dosing the ME Corals A&B plus calcium with an automated doser.
Alk is holding steady around 8.2ish and Ca is around 410. I'd like to see the Ca a little higher, like 425-440.

I know that these A/B chemicals are "supposed" to be dosed in equal amounts, but I'm weary about upping the dosage for both because I don't want my Alk to go any higher. And from what I understand if you dose them out of balance, increasing one could suppress the other. Is that factual?

Should I get a straight Ca supplement to add the tank to bring the levels up and then hope that my A/B dosing will maintain it?

yes, you answered your own question. just use a cal. supplement and dose the tank till you get the level you want. Then continue with your regular dosing schedule.

Just looking for confirmation :)

So you would suggest a completely different Ca supplement or just temporarily raise the Part A (Ca) in my dosing regimen?

You can use the Part A if you want. It's a bit more pricey than alternatives, but unless your tank is large, the cost will be fine.

It's about 105 gallons...

I'll probably just pick up a Ca supplement, as I don't want to run out of Ca in my two part before the Alk runs out. Nice to change them out a the same time.

Appreciate the advice!
