Bicolor Blenny Thread

Well here is a thread about Bicolor Blennys. I love mine. You can share stories ask questions post pics etc. Here is my Bicolor, he is really fast so my pictures are blurry.

I just got my first Bi color and he picks on the rock non stop,eats sheets of algae but refuses to eat any meaty food(mysis,brine) is this normal ? Ive had him a few weeks looks fat and happy

Mine eats meaty foods but he really loves algea the most. As long as he is eating I think he is fine. Nice Bicolor Krazy K.

10 minutes after I typed this I fed my tank and my Bi Color wolfed down Mysis !

Hgbarwick, I went with yoor advice a bought a bicolor yesterday. Thanks I'll let you know how it works out.

Can anyone tell me why my blenny's tail is black like the rest of him ???

This lil guy has TONS of personality too !! I love him !!!

I believe the males are closer to a solid color. That is my understanding. Want to stud him out?

My Bicolor has a little orange on the back of his tail. Not much though. Yes my blenny is one of my all time favorite fish.

My Blenny started with the half and half and switched to all black shortly after I got him. When we upgraded tanks, he switched back. Go figure!

Can I get another bi-color blenny or will they fight ?

I dont think my BiColor is a true Bi Color Blenny...LOL. He very much looks like a bicolor but his orange rear is more of a yellow and he does not have the little antennae on the top of his head. Is it a true BiColor? It doesnt look like yours.

i love Bicolor blenny, altough i don't have much luck with them, i've had 3 in my last tank, and all off them jumped like 3 months after being there..

Does a Highfin Blenny look very similar, color, fin shape, body build, as the BiColor blenny?

NO Hifins look differnt from Bicolors.

Mine is the meanest fish in the tank! He dosn't pick on the other fish, but he hates me I can't put my hand in the tank without getting attacked, and he will follow me when I walk past him, all the while trying to bite me through the glass.
