Big Clam Event!

Regret to inform all of u clam lovers that %50 of shipment was sold and the other half did not fair well after transport, as I just got of the phone with the owner yikes!
hopefully all of u cherry pickers are ok.

Still acclimating the ones I got. They seem fine, foot is not damaged and there is minimum gaping. It will be a while until I start moving them to their permanent locations.

This was a sad sight!
Never seen so many dead, and/or almost dead clams in one place!
I Picked up 3 clams - 2 small tear drops, and one other one ... not sure what it is - GF picked it out, and i didn't see it this morning.
Didn't get home till 12:45am ... acclimated till 2am.

As of 10pm my clam is doing fine. Seems happy ans was extended all day. No gaping though. Ihope everyone else was as lucky as I. :)

Hopefully, everyone leaves their clam in the bottom of the tank and away from the intense lighting. This will help with the acclimation. I recommend you leave it on one spot for about a week and then move them where you want them. The poor lil' fellows had a rough trip. So sad!
