Big fish and some hardware for sale

I've flooded my finished basement for the last time.
2 small kids, no time to maintain this big of a system.
For me, this big system was not fun anymore. It was work to keep it all going. I need something that's 5 minutes of work a day that I can enjoy.

I am one step away from the same thing for the exact same reason.

Ed,

Hindsight has taught me, if you're not truly enjoying it and having fun, back off now to a point where you can enjoy it. Don't get to a point where you hate it.

My flood last week was likely something I could have prevented. But the drudgery of tank maintenance was keeping me from doing much of anything beyond feeding the tank. If I had just fixed that pesky little drip on my water timer, I would have realized it wasn't a drip, it was an impending complete failure of the fitting...But with no time on my hands, I just stuck a bucket under it to catch the slow drip.

Then it exploded on Friday afternoon...and here I am.

Here's what's still left (and I can bring any of this to IMAC on Saturday if you want and respond by about 11 am tomorrow..except the angel)

Bi-color angel ~4" (at least 5 years old, well established, never nipped any corals or clams) $35

Ampmaster 3000, like new. Just had an entire new wet-end put on including marine abrasive seals and it's been sitting dry for a while as a hot back-up. $150 (can be sold now)

Emperor Aquatics 40 watt UV. Old model (no wiper), but brand new quartz sleeve and UV bulb. Never even fired the thing after buying it and replacing the parts. $100 (can be sold now)

Rubbermaid 100 gallon stock tank. Needs a very minor leak repair (like a glob of silicone on the outside and it's done.) $25

Red Sea 200 mg Ozone unit with 2 air dryers and beads. (the dial model, not digital one). $175

could you save me like 1 cupful of live sand so i can seed my dry aragonite? I can take it in about a week or two depending on when i can get my live rock.

Ok all...how does Friday night and/or Sunday look for pick ups?

PM me or respond here.

Newkid630, dying coral, Rob Top, ostrow and BenjieC,

Friday or Sunday work for you? Please let me know #1, if you still want the things you're marked for and #2, if those days work.

Thanks

Yes, I still want the dosing pump. Fri or Sunday doesn't work for me unless it works for Rob and he can p/u for the both of us.

Update

My tank is available (no stand). I've PM'd a couple folks that showed earlier interest:

96x30x30 acrylic
3/4" all around
Made by Tenecor in 2003
There's a repaired crack in the top that I've posted about and am happy to discuss if anyone is interested.
I have the original schematics from when I designed it with Tenecor (overflow, CL holes...etc.)
Asking $800.

I have about 100+ pounds of rock available as well. I've also PM'd a couple people that showed interest earlier. Some of this rock is VERY big and heavy. Others are small pieces.

Bi-color angel ~4" (at least 5 years old, well established, never nipped any corals or clams) $35

Ampmaster 3000, like new. Just had the wet-end rebuilt including marine abrasive seals and it's been sitting dry for a while as a hot back-up. $150

Emperor Aquatics 40 watt UV. Old model (no wiper), but brand new quartz sleeve and UV bulb. Never even fired the thing after buying it and replacing the parts. $100 (prefer not to ship due to fragility)

Red Sea 200 mg Ozone unit with 2 air dryers and beads. (the dial model, not digital one). $175

Bump for a great guy with an awsome aquarium. Mike was very understanding when I backed out of a the deal with this aquarium. I need a 150-180 and Mike was understanding.

Yowza....forgot about this one.

250 Hamilton magnetic ballast with a PFO DE pendant. It's an older style and has some surface rust on the pendant but runs fine. Sand it up, spray it down with black BBQ paint and it'll look brand new. I used this over my prop tank. I've got a few bulbs with it too, one brand new, a couple slightly used. 10K and 20K's I believe. $125.
