i did get rid of them. im not sure if i got on top of it early on or they only like specific coral. they only seemed to be on my tubbs pink jade and another frag... i forgot which one. but i tried interceptor and revive dips which didnt do too much. i tore out the colony and tried bayer interceptor which scared me the first few dips with the "max" dosage (10 ml's Bayer/4oz water i think it was) for the dip but it destroyed them and the coral polyps were back out within a couple hours! i set up a small quarantine for a week and dipped them every couple days. havent seen them again

Thanks for the reply. Bayer hasn't killed mine but I might not have used a strong enough dose. I'm a bit alarmed how many I see on my blue stag.

it does appear to be Alteuthellopsis corallina but the crazy thing is that I can only find it on corals with good color. :) Thanks for the help and the ID, much appreciated.

So how is your tank doing?
 
Oof those look bigger than mine were mark. Sucks its on your most colorful sticks since between the bugs and trying to kill them youll probably stress the corals out a bit. My pink jade took a few months to get back to where i was. Wish you best of luck

My tanks still doing well. Added a 34g frag tank so thats nice to have. Ill have to put some new pics up sometime soon. I really need to upgrade but im going to have to wait till i buy a house. Planning on a 180 next

Wow, dang conner, the new reef is looking amazing! I knew it would! You can grow coral! Lol
The frags i got from you a while back are doing great!
Did you go thru a diatom bloom cycling the new reef? If not, what did you use?

havent had a computer in a while. ill just leave these here! im thinking of redoing the right side so if anyone is looking for orange digi, tricolor acro, red dragon, blue tort, the green acro in the center, bali slimer or ultimate stag i will need to frag them. pretty much the entire digi, red dragon and tricolor colony if someone is interested in big pieces please let me know.

cant wait for the coral swaps coming up. i will be posting under the name biofish. hope to see everyone there
