Bit worried hydnophora stunk me?

So last night I realised My hydnophora was browning. I took the whole thing out and handled him at night with bare hands to put him in dip. I blew off all the gunk and shook him around, which prolly made him quite mad. Did it some more in fresh salt water from the tank and put him back in. About 10 minutes later my hand started tingling and my fore arm as well. Did it all night. Couldn't hardly find anything on the Web. Took half a benadryl and went to bed slightly worried. Today my hand is still a little tight. Not sure if I should be worried. I have no other symptoms of anything weird my hand just feels odd...

Never heard of it but it's one of the most aggressive corals so you may just be sensitive to them.

One should never touch corals/rocks with bare hands, always wear gloves.

The same happens to me when I handle certain Corals, I have had no lasting problems. I have learned to wear gloves now.

Was it an iodine dip? Could be an allergy to iodine. Plenty of people have issues with it.

Welp irregardless I survived. My brother handled his hydnophora and had the same thing happen to him. Consider this a warning. Those are potent
