Black and White Sadle Back Clownfish

I have a pair of black and white saddle back Clownfish and was wondering if they would host a Bubble tip anenome? Im really after the host relationship with clowns and anemones and was wondering if my favorite anenome work?

Any suggestions or owners with pics of there saddle back clownfish ?

They do not naturally host in E.quad , so its anyones guess.

Wild they host: H.crispa, M.doreensis, and S.haddoni.

thanks for the info is it rare that a clown will host a non native? or is it just per fish? Sorry im new to clows anenomes

Most clowns will host a bta in your case the natural host is the Haddoni carpet. I have a pair of these guys and they started out in bta till i found healthy carpets!

I have a a pair of black and white saddle backs and one of them started hosting my BTA within 1 day of it being in the tank. The other one will sometimes sleep in in at night but really only goes in it if something scares him.

ok thanks for the info guys that exactly what i was looking for. It not so uncommon for it to happen maybe ill try the bta and if not happy go with a carpet

Even a 90 may be small for a carpet - they can get really big
