Blackfoot Hosts

I have a pair of Blackfoot Clownfish (A. nigripes). I have a green bubble tip for them but they havent yet gone in to it. She will hover over it but not go in at all. I read their natural host in the wild is a Ritteri, but I been told they are very sensitive....Anyone have a take on a Ritteri.

Ritteri is a Mag from my understanding, one of most difficult to keep, and a max size of 3'
There is more info in nem FAQ sticky above.
Do you just have these now, or do you still also have onyx pair?

Give the nigripes time, they'll take to BTAs over time. Mine called just about every hosting anemone species home over the years.

Avoid a H. magnifica(Ritteri) unless you are willing to build the tank around it's very specific requirements.

All the best.

Ive got a pair of percs as well, but they are "the ones". I like the blackfoot and Jennifer really likes them. In March Im most likely gonna break down and get a Picasso pair now that I have a net on my tank.

So are you shooting for 3 pairs in your tank, or are we doing musical chairs again?LOL
I won't tell you my thoughts on more than one pair JT, I just won't...:)

+1 to davo and trav7.

my 8year old ORA A. nigripes is or has been at home with, H. crispa, H. malu, E. quadricolor and M. doreensis, to date.

interestingly enough, shutiny had posted a pic here of her small A. nigripes all snuggled up with a pair of A. polymnus in a small carpet anemone!

Musical Chairs.....
The percs will be going. When I get the other clowns these might go as well...I will not do 3 pair..

Male gaster was totally disgusted by this sight, and did not want anything to do with two nerds.
