Nevermind. Its probably the quality of the pic. At least on my screen the coral looks very smooth, almost like a monti digitata. You cant make out the macrostructure that all acros have. My bad:spin2:

Thanks, and no i dont mind. I actually started a thread on it a while back but i have not kept it as up to date as this one so it got lost in the mix.
Not much to update on the tank though. It has been on auto pilot for the last couple weeks. I recently got into mountain biking and have been ridding a couple times a week at markham park to help shed some pounds. This week i picked up a bike off craigs list so coral funds have been tight. Im holding out for the pbmas frag swap this weekend or possibly macna next weekend. B-)

A single god of war polyp. These guys look really similar to armor of gods i just found out. Lol
Some type of acro. The guy said it was a acro undulata. Cant find any info on that. Any advice would be appreciated.
Plug with 2 different types of zoas. Dont know the names but the looked really nice.
And a nice size frag of duncans

Couple updates, everything seems to be doing pretty good however I am not getting as much growth as id like. Also some zoas are not opening as nicely as they used to.
Anyways, some scores from MACNA last week.
I also picked up a twinspot hogfish today. Never seen one and the colors are really striking. He's a bit seclusive right now.

Also picked up this guy but could not get a good pic last night. Not sure if I should throw it in my sump where I won't see much of it. Or take a chance with it in my main display.

Cool stuff. Dude, you need to stop staring at your corals. The growth will come, LOL! Stonies take time, and they don't grow until they get some momentum. Don't worry, I do the same. Been staring at a lot of zoos lately, wondering when that new baby will come out. Take pics 2 weeks apart and I'm sure you'll see something. I've noticed it takes a couple of months to really appreciate any growth, especially if you are starting with small frags. Keep it up. Still loving your tank. Did you finish your insulate the vortech project? FTS? That pipe fish is pretty cool

Thanks. There are a couple things that are still waiting to be finished. I got kind of side tracked because ive been a bit busy with work and some side jobs. One of which was to get the MACNA 2013 website launched. I do plan on finishing the vortech insulation, right now the foam is in there which is doing the job but its kind of an eye sore. I also am still wanting to black out the back pane of glass. Going to go the limo tint route or black vinyl. I emailed Felix to see if he would let me know wher ei can get some but i have not heard back from him. He's probably still getting situated from coming back from MACNA.

They are all doing good. Pinwheels were closed up for almost a week. Could Not figure out why. They opened up OK now and looking good. Still have some AOG if your still looking for some. Let me know.

Seems like they go through a transition. They close up for a few days and then open and go through a grow spurt.

If your referring to the pinwheels, they do, its the weirdest thing ever but I think what there doing is cleaning themselves off. The first time they did it to me I was freakingout out the looked horrible I thought I had lost my whole colony. Then three days later they were wide open looking better then ever.
