Yes its the new Go Pro Hero 3.

And those fish are blue eyed cardinal or thread fin/longspine cardinals (Apogon leptacanthus). I found that you either love them or you hate them. I LOVE them. alot of people comment that they are ugly or "freshwater" looking. I love the way they tightly school even is a small tank and they way the eyes glow blue, either from mating or feeding im not sure. They are also breeding in my tank, the male holds the eggs in his mouth. I have not seen any babies though. I believe they all become coral food. I started with 9 but dwindled down to 5. I think a larger tank will be able to handle more. ULTRA laid back fish. I had to custom order them from coral reef farm from jeff. He says he sees them all the time but most LFS owners dont buy them because most hobbyists dont buy them.

wow sick video john! How do you like the new go pro? I was planning on getting on for diving and other activities.

Its my first one so i cant really comment on them. It seems like a good solid camera. output video is great. Looks much better on my computer before its put through the compression of youtube, etc. Functions are very limited though, there is no zoom, and there is not really a OSD aside from the small lcd that tells you which mode your in. I know they sell a backpak monitor but i havent tried it yet.

For the price, even the higher end BLACK edition its worth it. I paid more for the underwater housing alone for my kodak zi8 than i did for this whole set up with camera, housing, mounts, etc.

Its a Point of View camera so its not really meant to be held in your hands like a traditional camera(not saying you cant). Its more for mounting on something and letting it rip. I plan on using it on my mountain bike or my spear gun when i go fishing, etc.

not filling up fast enough. lol. I think i finally dialed in the amount of alk/calc my tank uses up daily. monday night it was at about 9.5 and last night i measured and it was around 8.5. so i calculated it with the reef chemistry calculator and with my roughly 110 gals total volume to bump it back to 9.5 was roughly 75-78 ml of solution. So i will be adding 75 ml daily to the tank for the next couple days and test again and see if the levels are stable at around 9-9.5 which is where i plan to keep it.
