Dusted off the DSLR and messed around a bit. I dont have a macro lens and cant find my tripod, but this is the best i have at the moment free handed with my stock lens. :(

Ooo I see bryopsis on one of those frags!

But John I am super envious of your tank!

Yea, its the one with the capt america palys, magicians, and a 3rd type i dont know the name of. I will probably pull it out of my tank and try to give it a good scrub again. Seems to always come back on that frag though. I might try to peel off the frags off that plug if possible and mount them on a fresh plug but only if it wont hurt the corals.

Great build. I just started an 80 shallow as well. Quick question that I might have overlooked while reading through your thread. What size/make power heads are you using? What size return? I think my return is way to strong and so are my power heads from my previous 90 gallon standard.

Gosh, i cant believe you just skimmed over my thread and didnt bother to read it word for word! LOL JK

I am running a mag 7 on pretty much full blast. I do have it plumbed into my frag/isolation tank as well so that brings the GPH down a bit in the actual tank. Im also running it from my fish room in the balcony through the living room to my tank which is about 10-15 ft away with some 90 degree elbows in the mix. I also currently am running a mp40 which i run on reef crest at about 80-90%. Its sufficient flow but could go a bit more. Im waiting on a wp25 to come in and will be adding that at the opposite side of the tank to help randomize the flow a bit. I recently moved the mp40 from the wall side to the living room side to push the current TOWARDS the overflow instead of away from it to try to help with nutrient export. When i get the wp25 i will move the mp40 back to where it was because i hate the way it looks clutter wise and i will put the wp25 on the opposite end from time to time to help lift up the detritus and push it over the overflow. Its hard running 2 pumps on a peninsula style tank an keeping the viewable side clutter free.

Thank you for the response blackthunda. I appreciate it. I think I am going to run to Koralia 850's and see how they do.

Haha, yes, enough variety for me now, LOL! Nice bloodshots, be careful with them. They are very tempermental:worried:

So when are you gonna frag a piece of that favia for me, LOL! I love that thing!

Yea im planning to. I just need to find someone with a coral saw and some experience. Ive never done it and i dont want to use that favia as my test subject. :)

man this tank has come a long way since i saw it! looks awesome. Do you have any videos of this tank? I am thinking bout upgrade to the same tank...

Thanks guys, it been a while since i updated the thread. Probably cuz i havent done much. Been busy with house stuff and MACNA and to top it off, i didnt even get a chance to get anything for the tank from MACNA, lol. Go Figure. I did set up the Jebao wp25 on the tank, i might post a pic of that and maybe a short vid in case anyone is interested. Im very happy with the WP25, THUS FAR. So much so that i ordered another one. Its not a Vortech, but for $52 shipped on a group buy, you have to be a fool to not recognize the potential of these pumps. I dont want to start a flame war about MP vs WP but if any of you have tried one you know what i mean.

If anyone wants to try the second WP25 i ordered for a couple days once i receive it your more than welcome to test it out, im not lacking for flow at the moment. lol. I bought it mainly in preparation for a larger build down the road.

Hurricaneredbone - i have not done any recent videos but now that i think about it its about time to do one, i might just have to dust off the GoPro one day this week.
