Idea on those connectors... change the male and female around, so that only white can hook to white, and black can hook to black... You'd be surprised how easy it is to get them reversed in the heat of battle.

Haven't posted on RC lately, but I've definitely been following your thread. Awesome job on the aquascape and obtaining that minimalistic feel but yet having enough real estate to mount frags. Keep me posted regarding your PH dilemma, I'm in the same boat :(

Thanks Jovany. Your compliments mean a lot, especially since I know your style and taste and have been impressed by your tanks.

Here are a couple pieces I picked up from rogger today.

Hey Jovany, if your issue is with excess co2 in the house which i believe is my issue. ( i took a cup of tank water outside and had a airstone running in it for 30 mins outside and my ph rose to 8.15 or so) then you might want to look into this co2 scubber. I stumbled across it today. http://www.bulkreefsupply.com/store/the-co2-scrubber-kit-raises-ph.html

this particular one is discontinued but there are links in the overview section that take you to the media and the reactor. Looks like you just connect it to your skimmer air intake.

I swear, one of these days I'll get my camera from my sisters and get some proper pictures! These are night time atinic shots. Well actually reef brites.

i didnt realize how grainy some of these pictures are on here when viewing from a pc. I usually upload via tap a talk via my phone. That sux. Time to get my camera from my sister...

Got my 20 watt blue multichip today. Spent a couple hours putting it together and installing it. I'm running it with no optics to get the most spread as I'm just supplementing my reefbrites. All in all, I'm satisfied, and its REALLY bright.

I picked up the box from the post office. This CAN'T be the right box, everything CAN'T be in here...i didnt realize how small the driver was going to be.

The led came pre installed on the heat sink. That was a nice surprise. Screwed in with thermal paste.

That's the chip, and my finger for comparison

Nice and bright!

Here you can see where I mounted it. It's in between my 2 reflectors.

I fabricated a simple bracket out of some metal stripping for connecting 2x4s. If it rusts I'll figure something else out or paint it. It's only $2 so I'm not worried about it. U can see how small the driver is mounted on the side of the bracket.
