i have a rock that has 3 different color morphs growing on it, but one of the colors is loosing heads slowly, i caught my cherub angel chewing on it and i kicked his little fins out of the tank, but its still recceeding, any ideas? all params check out. and i cant see any parasites, is it possible that the other colors are killing it off? and are there any ideas of a quick treatment?

Please list your param's first, many people come on here and say that the water is fine and it is not; so let us start there. Secondly, it was probably the fish that has caused the damage as you stated, and you have fixed that problem. I have seen many blastos growing together and causing no harm to each other.

Leveldrummer I have a couple of different Wellsi colonies. I have had large polyps slowly shrink away for no apparent reason only to be replaced by several tiny polyps that are now growing. Mine are both red colonies and do not like much light.

the light might be an issue, its about half way up under 250w hamiltons, my params are
am 0
trIte 0
trAte less than 5,
ph 7.9 - 8.2
cal 420
dkh 9
sg was high at 1.029 (bad hydrometer) and ive slowly dropped it over 2 weeks to 1.024-.025

anything else ive missed?
