Blue carpet advice.

Your carpet is still not out of the dog house yet. Keep a close eye on your Haddoni and let it be. Don't mess with it. But keep up with the feedings.

I'm pretty certain mine is about 24-48 hours away from death...it has been deflated and gaping all day. :(

Hey 55...I have read mixed things about these anemones...some say they are extremely difficult, others say they are some of the least difficult clown hosting anemones. My goal is to keep one of these but I don't know if it is worth another shot. What do you think??? I have had success with LTA's, H. Crispa, BTA's...

you are right it is not out of the dog house yet. I have been gone most of the day and when I left it was in great shape. I just got home and part of his stomach is coming out of his mouth and it looks like he is trying to expel brown pellet looking things. He still looks much better than he did yesterday though. I appreciate the advise and will keep up the feedings.

Thanks,
Scott

Is this normal when acclimating a blue carpet? I have a rose bubble and it was easy to acclimate and no struggles.

The blue Haddoni was in bad shape to begin with. Usually when any anemone(some are more forgiving though such as BTAS) is in bad shape or going downhill, often times the aquarist can has a very small chance of bringing it back. If COreefer had gotten a healthy Haddoni, I am sure it would be doing great right now. Coreefer did nothing wrong. Just got unfortunate.
