Blue protopalys

Check out these new protos I got. I didn't know they came in blue. If anyone has other pics of these I'd love to see some.

although not as blue as these pictured , I've seen purple deaths turn pretty blue in some pictures. Do you have pics from the side not a top down.

The plug looks to be covered in dinoflagellates though--- keep an eye on your sand and see if you see any rust-red patches pop up, and be prepared for a possible dino outbreak. Dinos need certain conditions to bloom, especially well suited for overgrowing a new tank.
 
Dinoflagelletes? if so, lights off for 5-7 days. PURE DARKNESS. it'll kill dinos.. turns them to dust. then do a major waterchange.
 
It's actually a diatom outbreak since it's a new system. Is there a bullet proof way of eliminating or almost eliminating diatoms.
