I have a Blue unicorn as well as a Vlamingi. They swim together now although they had a little shoving phase awhile back. Hope they stay peaceful. Naso is the king of my tank though amongst the tangs.

Just received a blue spine from DD today (N. Unicornis). About 4 - 4 1/2" long, pre horn juvenile. Looks to be in good shape.

Yessir he's my baby if he's a he. His horn has grown since he's been in my rank as well. They really don't mess with anyone in my tank

That makes me even more tempted to get one. :0) Does it grow as fast as the vlamingi? I assume yes.

But does it get messed with by other tangs? Should I expect one 5" to get hazed by established tangs? I'd assume so.

My 2.5" PBT harassed my unicorn for about 12 hrs. It is much bigger so no real harm from swatting. I would add at night and keep the lights off for 24 hrs. That's what I did and it all got worked out.

My vlamingi kind of danced with him for a few weeks. No hits on each other. My insane desjardini ignored him and he's the killer of the aquarium. He did have a nasty slash not too long ago but not sure how it happened or if it was another tang. I feed a lot so I'm sure that helps.

How big do they truly get? My daughter would love one but my tank is only a 375 Gallon tank.

They claim 24" not sure mine will get that large. It has grown about 1" in the 2 month I have had it though

There's a 1700gal at a museum by me and they have one that's a solid 24in in there. I never thought of taking a pic when I was there. Maybe next time...
