Blue throat trigger out competing other fish for food?

What can you recommend. This guy is about 6 inches and is like a pirahna come feeding time...everyone gets out of his way. I don't think it is fair to the other fish and am considering taking him back. The other fish are a chevron tang, naso tang, and yellow tang for now. Its a 450 gallon. I feel I have to overfeed to get some scraps to the other guys in to tank. For now I have to play keep away with the algae sheets I put on feeder clips tyed to some fishing line and dodge his attempts to take all. Thanks all.

i have a pair of them , have u tried using reefgel?
whati try n do is feed mr pait first, usually something meaty like lancefish/mussels/clams then feed everything else 5 mins later, seems to work. try n stick with it, they become realy tame and get to know you really well, mine wait for me to get home from work, then swin madly round the tank following me roubs the tank, honestly they make great pets !

I have tried feeding him fairly heavy first, but he always seems ready for more. How tame can he get with those teeth? Reefgel? isnt that super glue...what do you mean?

I have two in my tank also. They feed with the tangs off the algae clips. I put two or three clips in the tank at the same time because I have seven tangs also.

I may just keep at it, but after putting in 3 algae clips I thought he might give the others a shot. I am proud of his healthy appetite, he must be comfortable after just a month or so.
