heh, no wife, no kids, and a drive to visit every coral reef there is to see!

Don't worry, Tom, you'll probably get at least one wife and some kids along the way. ;)

But great pix! Looks like you had loads of fun.

I like bristle worms in my tank, but not THAT bristle worm!

Wow Tom good job on the photos and it looks like you had a great few dives. Thanks for posting them for us stuck on land!

I am going to Aruba in July and plan on taking at least one dive. Can you reccomend a camera? Do the disposable ones work well?

well unless you are very comfortable with yourself scuba diving I wouldn't recommend taking a camera. If you are comfortable diving, why on earth would you only do one dive?! :)

really those disposables are worthless for scuba, you might get one or 2 ok shots out of the whole camera snorkeling but I wouldn't count on it.

I think for a very basic U/W camera you'd spend about $500.

there are usually cameras available to rent at the scuba shop you get your tanks and gear from.

Real Great pictures Tom :D

I think it always so cool to see the critters we keep in their natural environment...

Ralph

I would spend the whole time underwater if I could. However, I have a wife and whatnot so it is hard to justify more than a dive or two.

I go on the 25 - 40 foot day dives. They are usually about 75 a trip

Great pics Tom. Got a chuckle out of that cardinal fish. Tried to take a picture of a cardinal under the Town Pier, only to have a moray eat it just a millisecond before I triggered the shutter. Didn't get the pic of the cardinal, but a great pic of the eels face  What camera/lens combo were you using?

Pleco420,

My routine is to take the early morning 2 tank dive while the wife and kid sleep in. Than I spend the rest of the day with them and ditch them for at least one night dive ;) Keeps me happy and it keeps the family happy :D
