Very nice. Looks like a candy cane hogfish or peppermint hogfish depending on who you ask. Correct? I have one of those on hold at my LFS store. How much did it cost? In general, these tend to be a little more rare than most hogfish.

Just gave mine away after 2 years... Got too big and aggressive ... Also had to remove yellow candy hog

Too big? Too aggressive? Are they known for this? Live aquaria has a yellow candy hogfish listed as peaceful and max size of 4".

IME hogs are aggressive... They will chase and nip wrasses, especially new additions... I have seen a 6"+ candy hog in a home aquarium

What a gorgeous fish! My limited knowledge of hogfish also has the notion that they are at least semi-aggressive, which has kept me from owning one (I had been interested in the yellow one, B. bimaculatus).

But that one might have convinced me!
