Bought new led light fixture from China.

Alright so I am having programming issues I went through the diy and set all the sequences and stuff but it doesn't run the program it goes to something else but when I go back into programming mode all the setting are still there. What gives? For what its worth I have the wireless.

What do you mean "goes into something else" What exactly is on the display when it "Goes into something else." Make sure that all of the times are in proper order. If one is out of order it won't work.

It will go into flash or cloud or something. when th controller dims and I press button it right were I left it

Ok that may be a problem. Once in diy mode it should stay in that mode. I believe it should be just like the wired controller. Maybe someone that bought a wifi controller can help.

I got a question on the reds i currently have a photon48 and the light is way too pink for me but it runs 4500k neutrals instead of 12000k and i belive the 4500k emits red in its spectrum. So now for the ? With the colors "channel w/reds" turned all the way down can you still see any reds in the corals or are the red leds needed? I for one hate fiji pink and purple plus bulbs i really loved my coloration of my 6- bulb t5 4-blue+&2-coral+ with royal blue led strips for pop and trying to get close or better to that coloration and similar to a 20000k radium bulb with some atinic supplement. Kevin sent me a suggested layout for the s400 which i belive is exactly like yours Gillguy so thought id pick the ledzeal masters brain lol would that layout get me clise to what im shooting for ? Thanks fellas. Rafael

I get reds (not dark reds but orange/pink), yellow and green with blue bulbs/LEDs only, through florescence. The white bulbs/LEDs have plenty of red spectrum as well for reflective reds. In fact, I don't really have much reds reflecting from corals, so most reds I get from corals are through florescence. It is said the red bulb/LEDs enhance color of fishes best.

It is really up to personal taste but I do like the colors I get from my fixture, and I have no RED LEDs. I had them along with greens for few days but decided remove them.

Nice thanks for the info fellas now what about the greens do they make a differance or should i swap them out for some royal blues?

I don't have any reds or greens in my fixtures. I replaced a bunch of blues with royal blues - guess you could say I like a blue tank :)

Nice fellas i really appreciate the feedback ill be replacing the reds and greens with some royal blues looks lime since theres more regular blues try to balance them out

in my setup i did not used any red or blue. I have 4 UV's and 6 Whites, the rest are RB or B. The white over powers all colors if run at 100%. It looks like a 10K-12K bulb.

I may substitute 2 whites for UV's or RB in my next S400.

My 2 x 400's arrived yesterday so had a play with them and so far very impressed.

Any recommendations to how I should set them up considering they are replacing my 250w metal halides?

Should I be ok to straight in with the settings as above with 75% for 4 hours?

I definitely like the blue better. In fact, I had rather have L1 and L3 running at about 60% and L2 and L4 running on next to nothing. Gillguy, I have your custom layout. Does have that much blue running detrimental in any way? I have fish, and mostly LPS, Zoas, and anemones in my tank.

Having mostly blue is not detrimental at all but you should have some white in there too. If you really the blue look just run L1 and L2 at twice the strength of L2 and L4.

Thanks for the input fellas im thinking of going with this layout kevin suggested and switch out the greens and the reds for royal blues with all 90* optics on blues and uv with 120* on the 12000k since there in the center to help with spread what do you guys think

So I am thinking of getting two of the S200'S with this color

If I need to add something later I can as well as keeping corals that need more light further up in the tank.
I am going to use 120deg optics on all them since the light will be 5" from the water and my tank is 8 x 2 x 2 deep. I am also going to add some fans to the canopy to purge some of the heat out.

That is the pattern that I used too. I am going to change 4 Blues to Royal Blues on Ch 3. That will give me 10 RB's, 6 B's, 6 W's and 2 UV's per section. And I'm going to try 120* lenses on the UV's just to see the difference from the 90* I have now.
I bought an assortment of LED's in case I get the urge to experiment. But so far I have been very happy with the color. And my corals seem to be loving the LED's.
