Bought new led light fixture from China.

My lights are ~16" from top of the water. I have X2 S400 units and only source lighting my tank. If I remember correctly, I ordered the lights with 60 degree lenses.
My tank is 72X36X36 with a plenum.

I've been very happy with my 2 - S200's. When compared to the 3 Radions needed to cover my tank, the price difference was enough for me to take a chance. Kevin was great to deal with, he usually responded the next day. One of my lights was destroyed in shipping, he actually called me on the phone and made it right.
I haven't added too many corals so there's really not much to post pics of. But everything I do have is thriving. And I'm especially happy I don't need to run a chiller anymore.

Kevin has answered so many questions for me and I feel like this can be a great deal. I am going with the s400. Corals are not in my tank yet, as it is still stocking up with fish. Running a massive PC fixture right now I am really looking forward to LED. Will take pics when it is ordered and set up once received.

Here are a couple of coral shots before and after. Shots taken at 8/30/2014 and 10/16/2014

Looks good for 45 days,...looking forward for a pic on 10-16-15 :lmao:

Me too! :)

also, starting today, I increased the percentage of the whites to 90% of the blues from 4pm to 10pm only. Previously, I only increased the whites at 8pm to 10pm, so I hope the corals like the additional 4 hours.

Originally, my lights were around 30-50% but then I started having issues with GHA and after that Cyano. This was probably attributed to the tank been new. I lowered the white lights during the outbreaks. Now that is resolved, I started the increase slowly to see how the corals react. Also due to the horror stories of corals bleaching.
Starting today the lights will max out at 90% blues and 81% whites between 4pm and 10pm.

Let me know if you need additional info.

I use the hard wired controller. But - if you have a tall tank (like mine) be sure to ask for longer PSU to Fixture cables. Mine were too short and I haven't been able to find the connector locally to make extension cables. Another post earlier in the thread mentioned that Kevin made some for them. If I can't find the connector, I'll tag along with a friend who is ordering his lights later this year.

Hows it going gillguy i have a question for you i ordered my ledzeal with no reds and greens i have the s400 and feel its lacking spectrum i swapped 10-12000k with 4500k to try to bring out the reds and still feel it lacking something in spectrum im thinking of swapping 10-more with 6500k it looks good no doubt im also thinking of adding 5-more uv 2-630nm and 2-660nm reds in there to see if it helps how do you like the green and reds i saw you run the channel with colors dimmer then the rest are they over powering the blues?
