I've only been in the store once (due to distance) but you can sure bet that if I'm ever near Cleveland I'll take the extra time to stop in.

Visited salty critter sunday Dan was very informative, great selection. If anyone is around Akron there is a little store in portage lakes, that like salty critter owner is very knowledgeable and honest will also stare you away from unneccesary purchases. Only drawback there selection is'nt that good, prices on what they have are great. The name of the place is Coral Reefs only open thur.- sun.

Can anyone tell me what there live rock is like? I was looking at there web page and there stuff like very nice. does anyone care to talk about what they have seen or better yet bought from them as fare a s live rock goes.

The live rock is very nice IMO. Lots of critters and well priced the last time I bought some.

I purchased all my liverock from SC... about 140 lbs worth most of it was Bali rock with some Eva and Uanivia types mixed in it. Hands down best rock around and good prices as well... Good colors and if you go to the store you can hand pick it out of the vats at no extra charge.
