Breeding Pair of Dragon Gobies and Pink square anthias for sale

Yah he's breeding clowns, but thats a huge difference then anthias . Anthias have yet to be done on any scale really. Like most wrasses, they need a large vertical space to do their thing and their larvae float for quite a while.

...only 30" tall, but Charles promised me they were at it all the time in his shorter tank ... if so, then they should be simply overjoyed with the new space.

Tom, I'm thinking I might give it a go since I've had a pelagic incubator for some time but it's yet to get wet. Sounds like I might need to give my buddy Gresh a call though about some of those smaller rots as these'll be way harder to raise than the clowns.

best of luck with it, if you do decide to give it a go :). We may be interested in some for our 380g, if/when you are successful at raising them :)

remember Robin, don't blame me when they start splashing water all over your floor when they are doing the mating ritual at the waters surface...

IIRC wasn't it like many many months they simply drift before settling out into any sizeable larvae?

SS are coming soon. I have a 10L system at home producing good numbers until we can get our new zooplankton tech up to snuff, then it's IRC for them all the way. Your probably going to need something even smaller for first feed though.

... that's what the solid acrylic lids are for! However, I'm more worried about all the little frags that will get displaced during their throes of passion. THAT is the reall hassle of having a tank that is deeper than your arms are long!

Gresh, the food will be the big challenge. With these guys I'll likely need to do ciliates and copepods, which will be a bit if a challenge in and of themselves. But then again, that's what makes it fun, right?!

They loved eating mini-krill and sinking krill pellets.

sometimes soaked in Garlic extract/vita-C/selcon etc......

Well, in a manner of speaking I guess the fry could eat mini-mini-mini krill but the garlic marination process might affect their motility!

When your ready we'll get you those ;) I could source you some Tisbe's and cialites aren't a problem :)

BTW, you'll notice your Otohime is in new packaging. the mylar bags are less O2 permiable and allow for a higher quality product. I've also started using O2 removers in the packaging :)

Brandon,

It was nice to see you again, hopefully you will enjoy the dragon gobies and they would continue to breed and lay eggs like they have done for me continuously since I first got them.. Don't worry the minute my RBTA splits again. You have first priority again till you have a chance to place it in your tank.

charles-

Hey Charles,

Nice to see you again too. Thanks for the pair of dragon gobies. Really cool in my tank. My watchman has to find a new area cause they took over his area:) Very cool looking gobies. Thanks again.

Told yeah.... Your going to love it once they start breeding again once they settle down... I say every 4-6 weeks or so with 1 week or 2 between hatching.... your corals are going to be happy and the other reef inhabitants as well..

Their pigments and coloration will be more pronounced once more comfortable in the tank.... remember to show me pics when the do their first batch in your tank.
