Brian's 270 Starphire

She looks great Brian - much better then last time I saw her and doing a dip on her!

These will be on our list when we upgrade, wish I had room for them now though - one of my favorite angels, glad I convinced you to get it ;)

Here's for you Mark ;).

Thanks Brian, It looks great. Whats up with all the bubbles? :twitch:

Here a crappy pic of my once female now super male Flame wrasse. Back a few months ago I added 5 females, now I have 3 females, one sub-male and one super male.

Not the easiest fish to get pic of as he never sit still or in one place.

Still waiting on a fish to take care of that. Scott has one but I need more overtime before I get it ;).

Blond Naso's, sailfins, and foxface's are pretty good options to get a head start. What are you looking at?

Besides the fish that Scott is holding on for me, I'm be looking for a Siganus punctatus (Gold Spotted Rabbitfish) or Siganus magnificus (Magnificnet Rabbitfish).

The problem is one: I haven't seen a healthy Gold Spotted Rabbitfish or a smaller Magnificnet locally. Two, I'm still holding off to see if the ich comes back. Three, neither of these fish I want long term.

I'm thinking of adding a few Emerald Mithrax Crab. I never seem to have luck with them eating bubble algae but it starting to get out of control.

I would never add an emerald crab again. Beside them eating zoas and playing "king kong" on my acros, they are tough to get out. Go by a one spot to get a jump start on it. When you don't want it, donate it at your local club ;)

Hey Mark,

What's a "one spot"??? Never heard of one and am starting to get a little more bubble algae than I care for in my tank! I had a blonde naso but my Vlamingi just took him out unfortunately.

I'll never get a Mithrax crab again either... little buggers don't really touch the bubble algae but seemed to take a liking to my acro's when in my tank... :eek1:

I assume he is referring to a one spot foxface - Siganus unimaculatus these guys and the Foxface Lo - Siganus vulpinus are the two commonly available cheap foxfaces. From what I have seen the one spot has nicer / brighter coloration and I assume this is why this one was mentioned.

I agree Mithrax are evil. I'll be on the hunt for a one spot.
