I'm sorry to hear Brian. Angels are so hard to lose as they have the most personality out of any fish
I agree, but it part of the hobby that we all so love.

Different genus fellas, genus... same familyYup bluelines and scribbleds are in the same family.
Oh man, I' so sorry Brian!
Stunning build!
Thanks for the in depth write up.
On a brighter note, this little guy has made quite the turn around. One of the surviving pieces, that I thought I was going to lose, of what used to be a 5" colony of Bali Tri-color.
Beautiful Brian,
Love the coloration on this piece. I've had some similar success with a piece that was severely damaged due to a transfer mishap and it is now coloring up beyond my wildest expectations!
It's fun to have that kind of turn around for sure!
Perhaps you've mentioned it somewhere in the thread but I was curious as to your lighting schedule? I will be putting 400w Radium's on my tank today and was curious what your schedule is.... I'm bumping up from a pair of 250w Radiums and will be making it a slow transition up to a more regular photoperiod in one week increments.
Let me know when you can please,
Thanks

You guys and you top down photos  One day I will learn how to shoot top downs so I can be as cool as all you kids :sad1:
Its always nice to see pieces come through the tough times
Thanks Dave! The right and left MH run for 6.5 hrs and the center for 4 hrs. I plan to add my VHO's this summer. I really like the look of 400w Radiums on electronic ballast. What ballast are you going to run them on?
I run my 250's on individual Galaxies and will run the 400's on the new "select a watt" Galaxies individually(I should receive the new ones today!). I like to stagger my lighting coming on and going off so as to more closely mimic nature and the suns varying intensities through the day.
I bought a pair of 400w Blue Wave 1's originally but didn't realize how large and heavy they were. I looked but couldn't find any dimensions or weight for these before I bought them. I keep my ballasts in my canopy and these boys were just TOO BIG and heavy to fit. Additionally I couldn't find anywhere else to store them just to make em work either.... Oh well, I have a LOT of lighting options now, lol!
So, when it comes time to upgrade I will have plenty of ballasts on hand or if I need to/want to put together a grow out tank I'm set!
Thats a nice piece Brian glad its coming back.
When you abd scott go to Jims house make a stop by here, I am only a few minutes away from jim. I want to get a piece of that canadian acro to ya for back up. I am getting jim a piece as well.
Cant have enough back ups out there!
Someone should recognize this one .
Thats a nice looking orenji
