Brian's 270 Starphire

I think that there's two of them one is an acro here and one is the milli that you linked to. There's a pic of Ryan's here but now that I look at it, it looks more blue versus yours which is purple.
 
Looking at those pics, I think this one is different than those. I have had that acro for ever. Nearly lost it a few time and was never anything much but frag size. Either way I like both of them and need to add Ultimate's Rainbow Acro to the collection :).

I'm beginning to like those pyramids more and more everytime I see them. Do they show any aggression towards any of your other fish?

Yep, that one has been labled as "ultimates rainbow acro" and has been around for awhile. The "rommels rainbow acro" (possibly just a hairy milli) was introduced a few years back. I remember when ming wei was selling tiny frags for $150 and people were buying them left and right. I think that piece you have is very different than the one I have.

I had "rommels rainbow acro" , but lost it shortly after I received it. As for the piece I have, I have not seen one like it. Rommel gets a alot of corals that never make his site and the one I have might have been one of those.

I just remember him unloading most of what he had so he could move. Me and a buddy of mine that knew Rommel back when he was just do frags.org got a bunch of stuff from him at that time. Most of them I lost in the move and my buddy is nolonger in the hobby, so most of those corals are gone :(.
 
BTW Mark, that's another coral that I got from you. Do you know if it the 20k or the 30k. I have the 30k and it looks different. I'm thinking it the 20k but thought I would see if you remember :).

Sweet pic Mark I really like the Ultimate's Rainbow Acro. The frags that I had were mostly green and had not developed the blue before I killed them. Someday I'll need to track down another piece and try again. Hopefully I won't be fitted for the golden sombrero :(

To be honest, I got it as the 20k from my friend Karl (unarce), but it looks like my 30k in my tank as well and my 30k came from tcn. I get a deep blueish/teal color out of them and they are lower in my tank.

Thats was a pretty nice "throw-in" looking back :lol:
 
Well, if it was my guess... I would think it look more like the 20k. It's definitly not as purple as the 30k I have.

And yes there was a few nice "throw-in's" :D.
 
Funny, I got a very similar box today. I bet yours contains something a lot cooler then a ton of snails and a trio of Carberryi Anthias.
