Bristle Worms

I noticed yesterday whlie fraggin some coral that my Bristle Worm population has really grown. I have seen a few 3-4" in size, but most are small. I've read some about them. Some say they are great others tell you to get them out of your tank. So my question, what is an acceptable population of Bristle worms and should I think about getting a natural perdator like a six line wrasse to help keep them in check?

Thanks!

If you're having a population explosion, cut back on your feedings. Their population will decrease due to lack of available food. (They are harmless detrivores.) For a quick way to rid yourself of some of them, there are bristleworm traps available on the market.

I agree. They are not bad and will not do anything bad in your tank.

Are bristle worms and bristle stars about the same. I've got 5 (stars) in a ball of chaeto at least. Come out at night to the top and run back into the ball when the lights come on.
