bristle worms

any good remodys for getting rid of bristle worms? i have only seen 2 but i want to get rid of them and keep them from reproducing.
 
Why do you want to get rid of them? They're great scavengers.... Anyway, you can find bristleworm traps at the online vendors. Try marinedepot or premiumaquatics.
 
no, no, no - bristleworms are NOT like aiptaisia. Aiptaisia is a pest - the worms are not. they are some of the most effective detrivores we can have. leave them where they are or send some to Allanira and me
 
I didn't mean that they are pests. He said he's only seen 2 and I'll bet that there are more than that. I have a fair size collection of them myself.

If you can add an Arabian dottyback. Should take care some of them.
 
2frosty - bad assumption on my part - sorry. you are indeed correct about the numbers - they come out in numbers when the tank is fed

No problem, I should have been clearer in my post. It was a poor attempt at humour.
 
leave them be - they tend to multiply when there is food - if you cut back on that they will die off on their own to a sustainable number
