Brown-ish, Yellow-ish coating

My new saltwater mixing barrel accumulates a brownish, yellowish coating on the inside of the barrel and on the pumps/heaters. Is this something I should worry about? My RO/DI water says 0TDS after the DI stage

We all get that stuff. Between uses I splash a little vinegar in there and wipe it with a couple of paper towels and rinse.

It's nothing to worry over. I don't bother to clean it. Some might be the chealator they add or some precipitant.

I rinse those flakes out once a year
