Browned Sps Frag Shipment- Neon Green Birdsnest ID

I recently received a shipment of various Sps corals almost a week ago. Hoping someone could help me with a question on one if them..the Neon Green Birdsnest. Upon opening the shipment all the sps had browned..but are all doing well so far. The Birdsnest polyps are fully extended but no hint of green at all- Do the Birdsnest polyps turn brown as well from shipping stress? Or did the frag supplier ship me out a "substitute" plain Brown Birdsnest? I thought with this coral the polyps typically remain green..
Any insight appreciated..

Why I'm a bit skeptical, the "blue-eyed blond" zooanthid frag I ordered appears to be green and orange not blue and yellow ..so was thinking this was another "substitute".

def doesnt look like a green birdsnest to me. Looks like a completely different chunk of birdsnest to me as well; it def doesn't match the sellers pic. Was it supposed to be wysiwyg?? Who did you get your frags from?

Thanks- ya was my thought too..
It was supposed to be a NGB..
Im in Vancouver B.C and I got them from place called Fragalot in Ontario, Canada.
I'll be getting in touch with him - see what happened there. Strange that I received something different for 2 of the order's items without any mention. Odd business practice for sure..!

Hi Javlavking,

I was flipping between the two pictures and they do appear to be different. It almost looks like you have a browned out purple polyp birdsnest. I would contact the seller, but keep the frag. Now that you have the picture documented, color it up and show the results to the seller. If they did sell you the wrong frag, you will have proof. If they are a good seller, they will make it right. If not, you always can write a vendor review.

Mistakes can happen,that's why the frags are only 10 bucks.Some of my most amazing sps frags came from burc.He usually won't contact you if he runs out of a colony to cut.He can cut and ship 100's if not a 1000 frags a week.

@cunareefer- thanks, yes I do believe it's turning purple actually- that should be a beautiful coral!
@mushroom- I see , wow that's a lot of fragging to do! Yes, price was right for sure- ill def be ordering again - just had heart set on the 3 that got "switched"..
Sure it will all work out not to worried about it..
I should mention..he threw in a "bonus" acro coral with shipment- that was quite large..
I guess in retrospect..it was for running out of a few I ordered..
