As a rule of thumb, only feed pieces no larger than the size of a pencil eraser. It takes a lot of energy to digest large pieces of food - why do you think we chew most of ours? Also, from one snap-shot no-one here is able to tell you if the anemone is in the process of bleaching further, or on the road to recovery. We can tell that its color is not as deep as typically seen though, and it should get darker. Also, with BTA's its mouth condition is not nearly as critical as in many "carpet" anemones like Haddoni. From the picture, to me, it looks like a recent split that hasn't "grown-up" jet. Many times when mine split the clone tended to be lighter. Good water quality, feed it a few times a week for now to help growth, and you should be fine.
