BTA went under a metamorphisis?

About two to three months ago I purchased a small 2.5" diameter white BTA. I thought it may have been bleached but the price was right at 20$ and other than its lack of colour it looked healthy (mouth was shut nicely, tentacles were well expanded). Anyways, since I've gotten it, it has almost doubled in size as well as losing it's bubble tips, the tentacles are now about 3 times longer and completely uniform, it looks more like a LTA than anything. Also, it's colour has gone from a mostly white/green tinged to a pinkish with green hues. Has anyone else experienced this? What could be the cause?

I would say when you bought it it was possibly headed out and becomeing smaller.Once you placed it in your tank it then was able to get the proper care and respect and is not rexpanding and coloring up.And bubble tips due tend to loses their bubbles after awhile. At this pojnt nothing to worrie about.
