what kind of fluid are you guys using in your bubble counters on the calcium reactors?
i am just using ro water

fwiw, I use mineral oil in my bubble counter....I haven't had to refill it since I started using it about 1.5yrs ago. Before that I was constantly refilling it due to evaporation.
If you research it you will find that mineral oil is safe to use.

As an alternative, I have read that many people also use Glycerin successfully.

o wow never thought of that

I use Glycerin also, it makes bubble counting so much easier and no evaporation. Not good for the auto filling counter/chamber reactors though.
