any 300 external or internal instock ? also any promotion on price or shipping charge ? I think I am ready for BK skimmer.
 
Wow I envy you chaffey...2 BM's and still going to go for a BK? It's gonna take me months until I am ready for my BK or Orca Dart Skimmer. Whats catchy is that the upgrade from 200 to 250ext is like $200 or so then less than $100 from 250ext to a 300ext...ahhhh, lol. But then I promised myself I will never spend more on the skimmer than I did to the tank and stand. I don't think I will able to make up my mind until I have 2 grand ready or the supermarines come out, lol.

I have about 60 fish and running the BK 300ext, no problem!
 
So what would you guys get in terms of performance, the Orca Dart or the BK300ext? I'm thinking these two are my main 2 choices now.
 
The new BK looks promising. I just did a search for Orca and I dont see how it even comes close to the same class as the BK. The build quality looks so much different.

He's referring to the Sequence Orca Dart. There's a thread with pics in this forum. It looks very well built in the pics I have seen. I'd love to get my hands on either one of them. ;)

I think you confused it with the Orca skimmer company.
 
Mike, thats the one I saw. The engineering (build) on the BK flows well while the Orca looks like a bolt on. In my opinion, the BK looks professionaly built.

That's why it's $600 cheaper($900 intro price). It's not a BK, but if it performs as good as one who cares? :p

Look how crappy Deltecs skimmer bodies are made. People still buy them up.

Don't get me wrong here, I want a 300EXT and will hopefully convince the wife to let me get one.

Got ya! I was confused why that skimmer came up in comparison to the BK. I'll be honest with you, most people do care how it looks and how its built. It's like a car.. some people care about just a fast engine.. while others want the entire package and would like a fast and stylish car. :)

Anyhow back to the BK thread. I just ordered the new one. JK! ;)

if she does not allow you to get the BK 300ext, get a new wife j/k:)

You can't go wrong with the BK 300 ext. It's a monster.

300's will be coming in on the first shipment, althought a VERY small amount of them. If that's what you want to go with I would highly recommend placing a preorder for it. It looks like I only have one each left available on the first shipment, of the 300 ext and int.
