lol, yea i didn't want to start an argument and say the sicce's have been working fine for a few yrs now......

So if Kz gets there patent, what happens to atb? Personally i'm still not sold on the cone. Sure its nice and cool looking but a well designed neck will do the same imo. And yea, patent's are patent's. This argument is kinda like the whole who own't the octo name! lol, thats my favorite of all time. Coralvue and there pride!

If your gonna throw that out about Coralvue then what about
ASMSKIMMER.COM / Marinesolutions saga and the fact that the owner of SWC is supposedly not even allowed in the US or trade shows????

Should'nt throw stones Luke33 unless you know the facts. Which you clearly don't.

Now go back to pimping those MSX skimmers

a world wide patent cost more then $100,000 . and always there is a problem with that you need to pay for lawyer... and it can cost twice or more ....

also there was a prototype published earlier and Klaus Jansen describes a cone Shape skimmer in his forum much earlier to...

I'm sorry you have personal issues against me. I only post one comment on your thread about why your spending hrs and hrs on makind a paddlewheel impeller pull more than 30scfh(which you can't do stock) and I ask why your not using a meshmod and you blow up on every post. It cracks me up. And Jayson is welcome to any trade show he would like to participate in fwiw. He's actually heading to China to meet with the manufacturer next week, and will see ER's, your octo's, reeflo's, msx's......octo pro's which are all built from the same manufacturer out of the same building. Its unfortuanate you don't know Coralvue has never been over to see where there skimmers are made. Only phone calls for them so far : (
 
I hear ya Mike, patent's and mold's are just to expensive as there's no guarantee you'll make a cent.

I think there is a thread for that already. Can we try to keep this on the BM skimmer.

Why has not someone with some money jumped on importing these in qty? Spongebobby-I would forward this to your friends at octo/ms. They have the cash and I am sure they are looking for something else to sell. just an idea? I also like those guys
 
Maybe people are just getting tired of you posting on every skimmer thread pushing these skimmers all in the fighting the good fight. Your post are motivated my money. Be honest with people. Backdoor selling is not fair to the other skimmer makers who pay to be on this site. It's only a matter of time until other skimmer makers follow suite. Why bother paying, when you can have a shrill doing the work for them.
 
Yes, this explains why i paid to have my pump sent to ms today to be machined. I don't understand your reasons behind trying to discredit me? You seem to always want to start arguments with every thread you post and unfortunately you don't ever have any good arguments or thoughts at that.

I don't have a personal problem with you...I could care less what you think about my NW or what i'm doing with it. My problem is how you slam Coralvue about the Octopus brand knowing they are the original US distributor. SWC did the same thing to ASM that they did with Octopus. And I didn't say trade shows in CHINA I said the US. I have never seen SWC or heard of them at any trade shows in the U.S...........Why is that???? Coralvue is at them all. Seems a little odd to me.

I have no ties with MS.....just bad personal experiences...

I am interested in finding more about these BM skimmers and it is distracting from a very distracted un-medicated thread! TIA

They also have some very nice, inexpensive Ca Reactors!

That post, pretty much sums it up. It's not that hard to understand. as far, as you send your pump back. Whats does that matter??
 
I'm not going to start an argument about the coralvue vs swc......for the billionth time. Do your research, they started as partners. ; ) SWC has just moved on from the crap your talking about, AUS own's the name more than either fwiw as they were the first to sell them.

Geo, wish it could have stayed only about this skimmer, there's always the personal attack's towards me. Not that I could give to craps. I just don't think there's any info on these skimmers in the US. If you want to start some i think Ostrow would be happy to convert it to 120v and test it. HTH

I am going to reply to him tonight.

I have 220 run in my fish room from a 220v Ice cap that I use to have. Will the plugs from HK come in that funky 3 prong mode? Or will have to re-wire a typical cord to the funky 3 prong thingy??
