Building 1600 Gallon Bioshock Themed Octopus Tank

Final Prints.. I'm psyched to see which one looks best. My bets on the more reflective 1st print (engineering grade). Mad props go to @ReeferRoo at reef 2 reef for printing them for me. They look great!

I would have used the 4x2 & ply to build formwork, to fill with concrete, for a tank this size.

Or better yet

Good luck anyway.

Ive already been through all the naysayers, so not looking to entertain them again :)

Nice to see some progress man! I love BioShock. Can we see the sump room? I'd like to see the top panels, overflow and your manhole access.

Sorry twinfallz wasnt trying to be short i am just well aware of the risks as they've kept me up many a night haha I always have to mention that i did place angle iron throughout the build for extra support.

So i received the prints (which look fantastic reeferoo) and ordered the rest of the sump plumbing...

1 - 50' roll of 2" flex hosing
2 - 4000gph submersible pumps
1- 16 foot ip68 LED rope light (to illuminate the picture)
1 - hole saw kit (need some holes cut for the waterbridge)
6 - cans of Krylon Fusion Expresso

The next photos should look pretty cool :)
