what's the reason for the move? bigger place?

Bigger place, more safe and about 12k per year cheaper.

love the tank

got any good pics of the doughnut coral????

Are you talking about the red scolymia? I'm not sure what my latest is but the most recent shot can be found at www.reeftrends.com/corals.html

It's labeled there as a Acanthophyllia Deshayesiana

the sad news is, yesterday I noticed my powder blue tang has ich or something that looks like it. He's been in the tank for 8 weeks now and not a sign of it till yesterday.

Keep him well feed add selcon garlic extreme to his meals. This is what i do and also feed a little heavy has been working with great success in my tang experiences... Can't wait for the full tank shot like we all learn patience is key in this hobby! haha

Here we go!!!

Two full tank shots, probably almost identical...

A kinda blurry shot of a Bonsai Acro. I got this as a little spec and it is now finally getting some growth and color.

I got this from Coral Dynamics and it was about the size of a nickel when I got it.

Wow - those are very cool shots. So you couldn't get much closer to that skimmer? Didn't you want to smell it?

It was actually quite clean. They had a spray bar in the cup that kept it clean at all times and also had a drain in the cup for any sludge. It was at least 8' tall though. :eek1:

I'm thinking about replacing my Panworld 50px-x return pump with a panworld 200ps with a pair of penductors. Anyone know a good deal about that type of setup?

I have penductors I'll sell you, $18 each w/free shipping??? :) I think they were $25 new plus shipping.

I'll have to let you know Randy, I'm going to go see a locals tank that runs that pump with the penductors. I want to witness before I purchase.

I'll tell you this - they create some serious flow! I was running four of them with a sequence tarpon for my sump return and it was just too much overkill when combined with my closed loop. I would have had to go bare bottom...
