Bulk Carbon

Looking for some bulk carbon. Found a thread talking about options. I am confused on measurements. I have a gallon of ESV carbon. what does that translate to in LBS or Cu feet. I found 1 Cu. foot (68LBS) for $75 plus shipping. all together it was like $93. If that is a good price I wanted to see if anybody was interested in splitting it with me.

it is the size of a small tv box.
way more than a 5 gallon bucket.

Jeff, I was thinking of ordering this in a couple weeks after I get my next big Overtime check. Is that cool. It sure is nice getting double the wages for one week. Tiring though.

I think We can split it three ways. it's supposed to be more than a five gallon bucket. Just think we pay thirty dollars for one gallon. We each will get about two gallons for thirty bucks.

Not sure about ESV carbon. I get Pelletized carbon in 50 pound drums and a gallon holds about 4.5 pounds and I sell it for $5.75 a pound. Assuming your source is good carbon for using in the aquarium that's an awsome price. Who is your source?
