Bulk Reef group order?

Didn't we do one of these last Dec, or Jan? I sent dc a PM, not sure if we can do it anymore or what.

Would anyone be interested? I'm thinkin of going 2 part, at least to start, with my new tank.

Anyone have any light they can shed on the subject? (group orders, not 2 part )

I just stocked up on things with their black friday/cyber monday deals, but I'd still go in with the group and buy a couple of things to help get enough people to get the discount.

I think enough people will be interested. Maybe try to set something up for January or something.

OR, are we already counted as a group who gets discounts when we buy as individuals? I didn't get any discount on my purchase from them this week, but I seem to recall some funky rule about us doing a group buy.

Somebody help me, the bong resin and malted hops are wreaking havoc on this old man's brain.

Heres how it works.


To set up a Group Buy with BulkReefSupply.com simply:

* Gather a minimum of 10 participants
* Instruct everyone to create an account on BulkReefSupply.com if they don't have one already *critical*
* Pick a Tuesday the group buy will start. Group buys run Tuesdays through the following Monday.
I will need your name and email address for the spreadsheet

Then what? Here is what will happen after your list is emailed:

* On the pre-determined Tuesday each participant will receive an email notifying them that the Group Buy has started.
* Participants can start buying as soon as they get this email. Please wait for this email before placing orders!
* During the group buy week participants will login to their own account to place their own order, which ships immediately.
* At the end of the Group Buy each participant's account will be changed to Preferred Customer. BRS Preferred Customer pricing is generally between our retail and group buy prices. This permanent upgrade is our way of saying thanks for getting your reef supplies with us!


Lets work on a time frame. People interested now? Before? or After holiday? I'm in no rush, but I can do it whenever the most people are interested.

Oh, and I think it has to be done on the BRS forum once we're ready, so this is just an interest thread.
