Bulk source for Carbon...

Randy, et al,

It's not that I don't want to support the aquarium trade, however, I like what Randy has done to help me control the costs of running my 180 gallon tank. I use his 2 part and have found it enormously cost effective and my tank's inhabitants have benefitted from a more varied diet from the extra cash I have available.

In the same vane, can you or anyone recommend a bulk source for carbon, one that might be readily available from a wholesaler or chemical supply house?

I would be interested aswell.I just bought a 2 gal jug for $53 so it isn't cheap.I figured it good to buy bulk but I would prefer to get a none fish brand that works for 1/3 the cost

Premium Aquatics sells a 44lb sack of Kent Reef carbon for $131.50 plus shippping. Some club memebers of ours split the order 4-5 ways and came out to be a good deal.

Not my first choice of carbon but if youre needing bulk.....
