Well, sitting here getting ready to decorate the tree. I look up and I see the back part of my foxfaces tail. I get up and he has that marbled look like it gets when stressed/sleeps. He was stuck to my tunze. I kicked off the tunze and it came off. It had some serious lines down his side like he had been there a long time. Basically floated to the bottom with his mouth up. About 5 minutes later nose-dived into the sand (it was water flow that was moving him) Then turned silver. Down the toilet. My daughter cried a TON...A few things I'd like to say.
I have lost 3 fox's...
1st one- Ate the toxic mouths out of a bunch of expensive yumas
2nd one- Same as tonight
3rd one- Just told you
The Tunze have some of the best designs to eliminate this so I'm not sure what to do.
Is this something common with "these" fish? Say the way they swim or anything? I've only lost one ever fish and it was a carpet surfing clown.
I spent months looking for one without a spot on them as I love the solid yellow and they're not super cheap. They've always done well and it's not like I only had them for a couple days or anything. Always seems to be around the 6 month mark.
This sucks. Gonna take me forever to find another one with no spot and then dump in another $40-$60
