Burrowing Wrasse

Got him today at the LFS and they didn't know what kind of wrasse he was. He burrows in the sand and eats like a pig!

Anyone have any ideas?

I would say Halichoeres nebulosus or the similar looking H. margaritaceus

I'm confused, why on earth would you purchase a fish if you don't know what it is? I have seen several threads lately with the same type of question. It's a bad idea to get a fish that you know nothing about or even what it is to put in a tank you have spent countless time and money on

Absolutely right! T'was a weak moment! I guess there are a few out there that has strong will power! :0). Still working on mine.
