buying sps, which site

I'll think about it. It depends on what is available when I order. I'm really thinking about liveaquaria. I wasn't looking for frags. Although, if they have some purple or red caps, I might change my mind. I'll know in the next two weeks.

Sorry, I know I'm not in Iowa, but I wanted to add my two cents about Reefer Madness. I've only ordered from them once, but I would do it again easy. One coral didn't look like the picture, but the other looked exactly like the picture. To be fair, I think the prostrata turned brown during shipping, but it's now starting to color up like the original picture.

Plus, they threw in two really great freebies, one of which is now one of my favorites. :)

Thanks MSM, I'll keep them in mind. They didn't have as much that sparked my interest, but they may get more in.

I finalized the deal with PGS for a custom set of LAIII's. Dave liked the design so much he was going to call it the dual halide LAIII and take it to a show. Needless to say, Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢m psyched.

Oh, and they do have a whole aqua-culture section.
Most of which are wild frags, or broken pieces off wild colonies - take a close look, you'll rarely see `tank raised' or `captive propagated' among any of those. I'm positive they hold them awhile, stabilize them - make sure they're healthy.

I'm glad they're saving + spreading them ... but `aquacultured' means many different things to different people.

Bali aquacultures can be great - but IMO that's a different thing than `reefer-raised' + than `wild frags' ... yet often all are called `aquaculture' or `frags'

I didn't realize it was like that Mark. Are you saying they're maricultured instead of aquacultured? How can you tell other than not seeing "tank raised"?

I'm trying to learn something, really. :)
